Best Places for Lunch in Tampa
If you’ve visited our blog in the past you know how we feel about Woody’s Famous Salads so they receive the number one spot but, despite our rave review, we occasionally pop into a few other spots in town. Here are some other favorites:
Bowls and bowls and bowls full of healthy, chef-inspired food served up fast. Choose your base, choose your veggies, choose your protein and of course top it off with sauce. We like to eat here when we’re in a hurry but want to feel good about our lunchtime decision.
As the first and only team member from Orlando, I find it imperative we include 4 Rivers on this list (if you didn’t know, the first 4 Rivers was in Orlando). This is a counter-serve joint featuring Texas-style BBQ, homestyle sides (try the bacon wrapped jalapeños) and sweet treats. There’s also an office rumor that our president has eaten here enough times to be featured on the wall.
This is another option if you are in a hurry but do not want to do a drive-thru. It’s a laid-back spot doling out wraps, salads and flatbreads with unique toppings. They also serve homemade juices. Come hungry because their portion sizes are pretty large.
GO HERE, it’s one of Tampa’s coolest and hip spots. We love the atmosphere; a restaurant amongst a bookstore, coffeehouse and gift shop. The decor and space alone are worth checking out even if you don’t have lunch. We recommend a reservation if you do.
Ulele is our choice for a nicer lunch or fun team outing. You can access the restaurant from the Tampa Riverwalk so I suggest you ride a bike! Their menu is unique, featuring items with a Floridian fare. They also brew their own beer so it doubles as a great happy hour spot.
Don’t be surprised if we take you to one of these favorites for a client meeting. Did I mention, we love lunch?!
