Healthy snacks to keep you creative
We have an office snack list, put down the one item you “cannot” live with throughout the workday. After I submitted my vote for “Skinny Pop” I got to thinking was that the best choice? Was that the snack I absolutely needed during the day? Should I have submitted a local craft beer? We usually have a pretty stocked fridge for Beer Thirty on Thursdays. Should I have submitted a vote for some apples, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right?
I wanted to know which snacks are the best options for sparking creativity, giving you energy, keeping you going in that awkward few hours between breakfast and lunch so I did some quick research. I read a few online articles and tallied up my findings. Here are the top votes:
- Green Tea
- Fish, specifically salmon
- Booze (go Beer Thirty)
- Dark Chocolate
While (I think) it’s impossible to ask the office to order me salmon, this list was pretty insightful and (maybe) next time the snack list comes around I will ask for dark chocolate instead of popcorn.
