Starting as an intern you get to learn the different positions and tasks that employees work on. It’s a great place to start when you are in college and trying to figure out what you want to do in the future. I had a few internships during my time at USF but none of them made me think that I had chosen the right major.
Until I started an internship at White Whale. During the internship, I was given different types of tasks to learn about what White Whale does as a company. I learned more in my 3 months as an intern than in my 2 years at USF. I was challenged to think differently, quickly, and creatively.
Doing an internship really helps you realize what type of field you want to go into as well as what type of company you want to work for. I truly enjoyed my time interning here. I felt comfortable with the people, excited to learn, and challenged to do become better. When I was offered a full-time position I was extremely excited to continue working and learning.
